School Art Program

PROGRAM NOW IN IT'S 8TH YEAR

Scupture Theme for 2021 "THE OUTBACK"

The 1770 Art Show instigated the Large Canvas School Project (LCSP) in 2014. That first year, a total of four schools participated. In 2015, six schools took part, and in 2016 and '18 eight local schools submitted entries. In 2019 the program change its name to SAP (School Arts Program) and instead of a large canvas, we had the students do a sculpture.

Each School is given a theme which will be "THE OUTBACK" for 2021. Again the students will be producing a sculpture.

The SAP is made possible through the generosity of dedicated sponsors. The 1770 Art Show would like to thank Karen Thompson, Mr. Josef Konrad and ArtPlus Bundaberg for their support of this innovative project.
